As many of you will already know we recently received substantial funding to develop our Spectrum Red group (a friendship group for young people with Aspergers Syndrome).
We have been so busy at the centre since we found out that we have neglected our blog! To make up for it here is a photo update of the Spectrum Red sessions that have been funded by our Big Lottery Reaching Communities grant.
Since the Halloween update we have had our end of term trip to the German Christmas Market in Birmingham and our own Christmas party. Both were a great success and we can’t wait to get stuck into developing the group in the new year.
The money raised at the Christmas Party has been donated to the charity Sense. One of our members David Brickstock has also been involved in a Christmas single to raise money for Sense through his college course. They have made a great video too which is worth a watch!
